MARBLE DENSIFIER
A marble densifier is a chemical solution designed to penetrate natural stone surfaces like marble, filling micro-pores and strengthening the material. It enhances hardness, reduces porosity, and improves overall durability.
Using a marble densifier:
• Increases surface hardness and strength
• Reduces water absorption and staining
• Enhances polishing results and shine
• Extends the life of marble flooring and surfaces
The densifier chemically reacts with minerals inside the marble to form a harder, more compact surface structure. It fills internal pores without altering the natural look of the stone.
• It’s best applied after grinding during the marble polishing process.
• On new marble surfaces to strengthen them
• On older marble to restore density and prepare for polishing
Yes, most densifiers are suitable for a wide range of marble types, but it’s always best to test on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility.
• Clean the surface thoroughly.
• Apply the densifier evenly using a sprayer, mop, or brush.
• Allow it to penetrate and react (usually 30–60 minutes).
• Remove any excess and continue with the polishing process if required.
A good-quality densifier like Casa Chem’s will not significantly change the natural color. It enhances the polish but keeps the original stone look intact.
Penetration and reaction typically happen within 30–60 minutes. Full chemical curing and hardening can continue for up to 24 hours.
Yes, but it is most effective when used after initial grinding stages during the polishing process to ensure better absorption into the stone.
Casa Chem marble densifiers are formulated to be low in VOCs (volatile organic compounds), making them safer for indoor use and more environmentally friendly.
SEALERS
A marble and stone sealer is a protective liquid applied to the surface, edges, and underside of stones to prevent water, oil, dirt, and stains from penetrating and damaging the material.
• Sealing all surfaces
• Protects the stone from moisture absorption during and after installation
• Reduces staining from adhesives, grouts, or environmental exposure
• Improves the stone’s durability and long-term appearance
• Helps prevent discoloration from bottom moisture (especially in outdoor installations)
Our marble mastic offers:
• Bottom and side sealing should be done before installation, especially for moisture-sensitive stones like white marble.
• Top sealing is usually done after installation and final polishing or finishing.
Our sealers penetrate the stone’s microstructure, creating an invisible protective barrier that repels water, oil, and other contaminants without changing the natural look of the stone.
Casa Chem offers both:
• Natural-look sealers that preserve the original appearance
• Enhancing sealers that slightly deepen the color for a richer, more vibrant look Choose based on your preference!
Depending on traffic and exposure:
• Interior sealed surfaces can last 3–5 years.
• Exterior surfaces may need resealing every 1–2 years Proper maintenance extends the protection life.
Ensure the stone surface is clean and dry. Apply the sealer evenly with a brush, roller, or cloth. Allow it to penetrate as directed (usually 15–30 minutes). Wipe off any excess to avoid residue. For bottoms and sides, apply generously before setting the stone in adhesive.
If the previous sealer has worn off or the surface has been freshly honed or polished, yes. Always check absorbency by doing a simple water test (drop water on the surface — if it darkens quickly, it needs sealing).
Highly recommended for:
• White marble (e.g., Carrara, Thassos)
• Sandstone
• Limestone
• Porous granites
• Engineered stones where moisture sensitivity is a concern
Yes! We offer food-safe, low-VOC sealers that are suitable for use on kitchen countertops and dining areas.
MARBLE AND STONE SHINERS
A shiner is a specially formulated liquid or cream designed to enhance the gloss, brightness, and overall appearance of marble, granite, and other natural stones. It restores the shine and helps protect the surface.
Using Casa Chem’s shiners:
• Instantly boosts the stone’s gloss level
• Revives dull or worn-out surfaces
• Provides a protective layer against minor stains and dirt
• Enhances the natural color and depth of the stone
No.
Shiners primarily enhance the appearance and gloss. Sealers focus on protecting the stone from water, oil, and stains. Often, they are used together — first sealing, then applying a shiner for maximum protection and beauty.
Shiners can be used on:
• Polished marble floors and walls
• Granite countertops
• Stone furniture
• Statues and decorative stone pieces
• Staircases and lobby areas.
Clean the surface thoroughly. Apply a small amount of shiner using a soft cloth, mop, or applicator pad. Spread evenly and allow it to dry. Buff gently for a higher gloss finish if needed.
It depends on the traffic and maintenance.
On low-traffic indoor surfaces, the shine can last several weeks.
For high-traffic areas, periodic reapplication may be needed for consistent gloss.
Good quality shiners like Casa Chem’s are designed to enhance gloss without significantly increasing slipperiness. However, over-application can make surfaces slick, so always apply as directed.
Shiners are most effective on polished surfaces. On honed or matte-finished stones, the gloss enhancement will be less noticeable.
Shiners offer a very light protective layer that can help resist minor scratches and scuffs, but they are not a substitute for deeper surface protection like sealers or coatings.
Yes! Our marble and stone shiners are low-odor, fast-drying, and safe for use in homes, offices, hotels, and other indoor spaces.
MARBLE EPOXY SYSTEM 2010 & 4010
It’s a specially formulated two-component epoxy designed to penetrate, fill, and repair cracks, pinholes, and surface defects in marble, granite, and other natural stones. It restores the structural integrity and improves the finish of the stone.
• Enhances stone strength and durability
• Prevents water, dirt, and chemical infiltration
• Improves the stone’s appearance by creating a smooth, uniform surface
• Prepares the stone for polishing and finishing
Our epoxy system deeply penetrates into fine cracks and pores, hardening inside to create a permanent bond. It bonds the stone internally and can also be polished to a high gloss for a flawless finish.
• Before polishing during stone processing.
• During restoration or repair projects
• On-site repairs of installed marble, granite, or limestone surfaces
Clean and dry the surface thoroughly. Mix Part A (resin) and Part B (hardener) in the correct ratio. Spread the epoxy over the surface with a trowel or spatula, ensuring it fills all cracks and pinholes. Allow curing (typically 4–6 hours). Grind and polish the surface as needed.
Yes! Casa Chem offers transparent and tinted epoxy systems. Color pigments can also be added during mixing to match specific stone shades.
Initial curing usually happens in 4–6 hours at room temperature. Full hardness and chemical resistance develop within 24 hours.
When applied correctly and polished properly, the epoxy blends very well with the stone. Using clear or tinted versions ensures minimal visibility after finishing.
